Unlock Luclin

Summary

To obtain the Key to Luclin you must kill Vulak'Aerr in the Temple of Veeshan. As an alternative you can also purchase the key fragment in the Guild Lobby.

Zones Unlocked

After obtaining the key you will have access to:

• Sanctus Seru (sseru) - Zam Magelo
• Ssraeshza Temple (ssratemple) - Zam Magelo
• The Deep (thedeep) - Zam Magelo
• The Grey (thegrey) - Zam Magelo
• Akheva Ruins (akheva) - Zam Magelo
• Acrylia Caverns (acrylia) - Zam Magelo
• Grimling Forest (grimling) - Zam Magelo
• Grieg's End (griegsend) - Zam Magelo
• The Umbral Plains (umbral) - Zam Magelo

Even though Vex Thal is part of Luclin, there is a separate progression to unlock Vex Thal.

Purchasing the Key Fragment

You can purchase the Key Fragment to Luclin in the Guild Lobby for around 10000pp from Zulu. Turn in the fragment to Vinz Clortho in Guild Lobby.

Guide

You cannot kill Vulak'Aerr without first killing some other dragons first. If you attempt to kill him first you will be instantly killed. Kill the following dragons:

• Lady Mirenilla (#zone templeveeshan -256 996 124)
• Lady Nevederia (#zone templeveeshan -1679 1523 174)
• Lord Feshlak (#zone templeveeshan -1198 58 81)
• Lord Koi'Doken (#zone templeveeshan -7 720 99)
• Lord Kreizenn (#zone templeveeshan -1780 273 82)
• Lord Vyemm (#zone templeveeshan -3 -130 54)

After they are dead you can go to Vulak'Aerr (#zone templeveeshan -740 742 124).

After you kill him, his ghost will spawn. After killing the ghost, loot the key fragment. Take the key fragment to Vinz Clortho (#zone guildlobby 71 347 1) in Guild Lobby and he will give you the Key to Luclin.

Everquest Live

The Shadows of Luclin was Everquest's 3rd expansion and was released on December 4th, 2001. Luclin is a moon of Norrath. The expansion added the Vah Shir race and the Beastlord class. It also brought a new game engine, new character models, and the ability to modify the user interface.
