Summary[]
To obtain the Key to Plane of Tranquility you must kill Aten Ha Ra in Vex Thal. As an alternative you can also purchase the key fragment in the Guild Lobby.

Purchasing the Key Fragment[]
You can purchase the Key Fragment to Plane of Tranquility in the Guild Lobby for around 30000pp from Zulu. Turn in the fragment to Vinz Clortho in Guild Lobby.

To get the key fragment you need to kill Aten Ha Ra. To make it to her you will need to kill several other bosses first and in order. It is recommended that you go the Master of Time and create your own instance of Vex Thal, to assure you that all the bosses will be there. However you do it, make your way to Vex Thal (either through instance or #zone vexthal).
Kaas Thox Xi Ans Dyek[]
Once in Vex Thal, work your way to Kaas Thox Xi Ans Dyek (see map below). It is essentially through the front door and straight back until you run into his room.
After killing it, A Whisperling Ghost will spawn.
You say, 'Hail, A Whisperling Ghost'
A Whisperling Ghost says, 'Greetings <player>. I seek revenge upon the shadow spawn. Would you [assist] me?'
You say, 'assist'
A Whisperling Ghost says, 'The shadow crept over the land and destroyed my people. Those responsible are here. I will send you as close to them as possible if you wish to [fight] them.'
You say, 'fight'
A Whisperling Ghost says, 'The monsters must be fought in order or I will be unable to teleport you past their warders. Do not forget about the Thall Va Xakras. If you wish to face Aten Ha Ra before defeating the rest of the shadow, her shadow will assist her, but I can send you there if you feel you are powerful enough. Simply say the name and I will teleport you close to them. Note: If you don't want to type the name of the boss, anytime the ghost spawns you can say 'fight' to it and it will list all the bosses again. Just make sure you click on the correct one.

Kill Diabo Xi Xin and the ghost will spawn again.

This part is different than before. Instead of being ported directly to the bosses room you will be teleported to a corridor. During his phase you must kill two bosses with the same name (Kaas Thox Xi Aten Ha Ra). One is directly north and the other is directly south (see the map below).
After you kill both Kaas Thox Xi Aten Ha Ra's go back to the corridor where you were teleported. Head east and click the orb along the wall.

You will be teleported just outside Aten Ha Ra's room.
Kill Aten Ha Ra. After she is dead her ghost will spawn. Kill it and loot the Key Fragment to the Plane of Tranquility from the ghost's body. Take the key fragment to Vinz Clortho (#zone guildlobby 71 347 1) in Guild Lobby and he will give you the Key to the Plane of Tranquility.
