Summary[]
To obtain the Key to Vex Thal you must kill either Lord Inquisitor Seru or Emperor Ssraeshza. As an alternative you can also purchase the key fragment in the Guild Lobby.
Zones Unlocked[]
After obtaining the key you will have access to Vex Thal (vexthal) Zam Magelo.
Purchasing the Key Fragment[]
You can purchase the Key Fragment to Vex Thal in the Guild Lobby for around 16000pp from Zulu. Turn in the fragment to Vinz Clortho in Guild Lobby.

You only need to kill one of the two following monsters. Each monster will spawn a ghost when it dies. Kill the ghost and loot the key fragment. Take the key fragment to Vinz Clortho (#zone guildlobby 71 347 1) in Guild Lobby and he will give you the Key to Vex Thal.
Note that both monsters can only be killed using magic damage or bane damage. You can find bane damage augments in the Guild Lobby on Augmentor Bane (#zone guildlobby 261 255 3). Use "Bane Dmg: Seru" against Lord Inquisitor Seru and "Bane Dmg:Shissar" against Emperor Ssraeshza.
Lord Inquisitor Seru[]
The Lord Inquisitor can be found in Sanctus Seru. You can go directly to him by using the command #zone sseru -141 -518 194.
Emperor Ssraeshza[]
Emperor Ssraeshza can be found in Ssraeshza Temple. First, you must kill Ssraeshzian Blood Golem or Blood of Ssraeshza (#zone ssratemple 1021 -413 413). Then you can attack the Emperor.
